WHO AM I ….REALLY?—A JOURNEY FOR ORTHODOX JEWISH WOMEN

I am a Jewish Orthodox woman…I am a wife and a mother, I am a daughter, a sister and a friend…but who am I REALLY…at my core? How do I balance the traditional duties expected of me, and also recognize myself as a separate individual with my own individual purpose in life?

This course will start by developing an understanding of group vs. individual identity. From there, we will:

• Learn how to enhance communication skills to help others, build relationships, and also get our own needs met
• Become aware of our own values, mission and purpose in life
• Move from awareness to action in creating our ideal self
• Identify blocks to becoming all that we can be, in both our group and individual identities

Instructors will include Chaya Abelsky of Triumphant Journeys and Kathy Poehnert.
